Dear Mr. Monfort,
I'm writing
to tell you what a beautiful boat I have made according to yout
plans for the SnowShoe 12. It was great fun to build and I have
been enjoying it on the Adirondack Lakes ever since. Everywhere
I take it I get comments about it. And what a surprise to be able
to see the water through the translucent skin. I have enclosed
a picture of it.
I entered
the boat in a "No Octane Regatta" for wooden boats sponsored
by the Adirondack Museum. The Regatta was held on Blue Mountain
Lake in June and there were over 100 boats on display. It was
apparently the larget regatta of wooden boats ever held. I had
many people tell me that the snow show was the most beautiful
boat there.
Yours truly,
