The
"vee" plywood bottom section contributes to the stiffness
of the hull and provides a good measure of abrasion resistance for
landing, lightly I hope, on a rocky beach.
The
Dacron is applied in one piece and is stuck to the plywood with
a tough Zip-guard finish.
The quadruple chine, Geodesic part of the design configuration,
contributes to a good looking lap streak appearing Nordic pram hull.
An interesting innovation is an optional flotation seat cushion
that is a zippered waterproof dry storage chamber. It is made from
durable Expedition Nylon. |
